Covid-19: States start plasma therapy trials

Plasma therapy trials have already started in Maharashtra, UP and Madhya Pradesh — involving only one or a couple of patients. Some states have started administering HCQ tablets for healthcare workers, patients and their contacts. Other states and UTs are either awaiting approval from the ICMR or have got approval but have not yet started administering plasma.
