Over 2 lakh H-1B workers could lose legal status

As many as 2.5 lakh guest workers seeking a green card in the US -- about 2 lakh of them on H-1B visas -- could lose their legal status by the end of June, according to Jeremy Neufeld, an immigration policy analyst with the Washington DC-based think tank Niskanen Center.
