Five sportspersons recommended for Khel Ratna

Cricketer Rohit Sharma, wrestler Vinesh Phogat, table tennis player Manika Batra, Rio Paralympic gold medallist, high-jumper Mariyappan Thangavelu and women's hockey team captain Rani Rampal have been recommended for this year's Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award - the country's highest sporting honour.
